Advice of Hadhrat Mufti Mahmood Hassan Gangohi Rahmatullahi Allayhi
It is totally incorrect to hit the children. They will only be able to learn what is destined for them. If you over step the mark by hitting them, remember that you will have to bear the brunt of it. If the child runs away and is deprived of Deeni knowledge because of your hitting, you will be held responsible. Rather be kind and compassionate to them. When they learn their work, reward them with some gift, etc.[1]
