Where Should One Focus in Salah?

Question:

Aslam o elikum

I want to ask one question .
That is..When we are prforming prayer where should be our eye sight .
Plz tell me all about when we doing prayer in every situation thanks n jzak Allah..

Answer:

As-salāmu ‘Alaykum Wa-rahmatullāhi Wa-barakātuh.
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Here under are the Mustahab methods of focusing one’s eyesight in Salaah.[1]

1. Qaumah (Standing Posture) – One should fix the eyes on the place of Sajdah.
2. Ruku (Yielding Posture) – One should fix the eyes towards the feet and toes.
3. Sajdah (Prostration) – One should focus the eyes on the nose.
4. Jalsa (Sitting Posture) – One should focus the eyes on the lap.
5. Salam (Completion of Salaah) – One should focus the eyes on the shoulders.
